why would the doorman give him razor wire?

Razor wire? I just saw chicken wire?

Based on what happens, it seems Danny asked for the razor wire...

The doorman is shown answering his phone, and saying, "Joe here. You want want?"

In the next scene the doorman knocks on Danny's door with a package. When Danny opens the door, the doorman says, "You're in luck, baby. Razor wire and razor cutter," then hands Danny the package.

After they talk a few minutes, the doorman asks Danny why he has "all this stuff", and Danny replies, "To keep them out." The doorman asks him who "them" are.


I have seen the eternal Footman hold my coat, and snicker.
