Does she really come from money? I find that hard to believe, she acts EXACTLLY just like the local hoodrats in the projects. I know you have to spice up the show and that it is scripted-the only thing missing is her fighting over some KFC. not meaning to be racist, but they seem to project all the black girls the same. Having money doesn't suddenly make you high-class. Similiarly, being from a low-income neighborhood and black doesn't make you a hoodrat, if that were the case, Oprah would act more like one.
I personally grew up in an upscale community with girls who rich, but acted far worse than Aimee and none of them were black. And on one occasion, I actually do remember two girls fighting over a box of Church's Chicken.

I was thinking the same thing. Anyone who thinks Aimee's a hoodrat has never actually met one. Jenn actually acted more "hoodrat" than Amy.

I'm glad she was made VIP. I thought it was unfair to punish her equally with Jenn for fights Jenn started. What is she supposed to do? Just stand there and take it? If they didn't want it to turn into a fight, they should have intervened the moment Jenn started.

So Aimee is a hoodrat and Jen is a crack whore. I guess if their skin color were reversed Aimee would be a crack whore and Jen would be the hood rat. Point is they all act stupid and get into fights on the show but you just had to single out Aimee because of her color. At least Aimee didnt resort to throwing drinks in peoples faces, flip off the show host and spazz out and get sent home. I guess only rich, white, proper, well-bred folks do that!
shareDuring the initial show they showed her mom's apartment (I don't think they used the word condo, pretty sure they referenced it as an apartment) - anyway, it was nice, clean, spacious, etc ... but watching HGTV we all realize the reason so many celebs and new money people live in GA is the cheap land and housing.
My guess is her mom makes a very nice income and the spoiled child is allowed to live rent free / responsibility free because the mom never put her foot down when she was coming up.
So no, I wouldn't classify her as 'coming from money' but she did fit the mold of pampered princess who fights work like it's the plague.
My guess is her career aspiration is to recieve her MRS. degree without even putting out ... most likely she'll end up marrying a much older divorced man on the rebound from a long-term marriage.
