Brilliant, however...(SPOILERS)

Kaspar blew Paul's brains out, shot Anders(despite not firing the killing shot), and accidentally shot the eighth-grader(who is only mentioned once in the series). Yet, we're to believe he got a suspended sentence? I know the U.S. can be rather harsh when it comes to punishing juvenile offenders, but wasn't the ending rather extreme on the opposite end? I know he's a minor and there were extenuating circumstances such as the beach incident, which can't be ignored. I also know that if he doesn't follow the terms of his probation, he'll go straight to jail. Still, he gets to move back in with his grandmother in the end. I was also surprised we didn't see Anders or Riina's parents crying foul when the sentencing was imposed. They were the ones who seemed to be unable to come to terms with the horrible things their children did.
I also thought the romance with the lawyer was also unrealistic. I could understand Kaspar falling for her since she's the only one who really listened to him while he was incarcerated, but for her to return the feelings seemed a bit contrived. My hope is that when she arrived at his house, she was going there to tell him it wouldn't work out between them, and to wish him luck in the future.
I guess what I'm saying is that the first six episodes are perfect. The second half of the final episode, however, is flawed IMO.
