The ending sends plot to the dogs

Okay, so Mark Ruffalo's detective is very cool until the end - when the creators decide to make him a genius mastermind control freak of everything and a mole.

So all along he was obviously just pretending to chase the Horsemen which is mildly put far fetched. To keep FBI - and a viewer - behind the magicians. Jesse Eisenberg is simply weird as usually and movie could do without him.

After the plot twist at the end messes everything cool in the movie up we're left only with Morgan Freeman's character who might understand what has happened and offer a glimmer of hope to get them.

We're not offered any explanation why he's put behind bars.

Otherwise, it's not a bad movie. Suspension is good until they ruin it with making Ruffalo one of them.
