Ugh.. what is going on with Hallmark lately?

likableue second hallmark movie I've watched in two days. Both recently released. the writing for both is just downright awful. I know that hallmark movies are usually predictable and sappy but the writers in these last 2 movies have made the female heroine come across as completely shallow, stupid and unlikable.

Some of the little one liners and quips are downright hard to listen to. Some of them seem to be to try to make the movie a little sexier or have an edge but it just falls flat. Like the line "I scraped the mayonnaise off this dress I found in the dumpster"? What??? And the line "where are we going to dinner, somewhere cheap and dirty or expensive and filthy"??? Horrible writing!
I love to watch a happy little hallmark movie every once in awhile. But if they continue with this writing and horrible overacting, I wont be watching any more.
