Does anyone know if this has been or will be picked up for another season?

I wish I knew, I would like to see Daniel redeem himself after what happened in the last episode.

was left open with him attacking the rest at the very end of the last episode.

Nope unfortunately the show was cancelled, due to bad ratings. A second season was supposed to happen that wouldn't finished things off, I guess we can chalk it up as another cliffhanger ending.
