Why did they find just the hand? *SPOILERS*
Maybe I missed something....
Did the police ever find the rest of the body? Did they simply chop her up into pieces and threw her into the water?
I think they find her body in the hunting lodge. You can see her family burying her in the end, right after they show Battal Bey's daughter in her bed.
As for the hand, Battal Bey chopped it off to make it look like a crime of passion or an honour killing, to throw the police off-track.
