3D Blu-ray flickering during playback?

I've just tried to play Ice Age 4 Continental Drift 3D Blu-ray, everything was going well. The trailer for Epic had a very good 3D effect and the menus also had some good 3D pop. But as soon as the film started playing, the picture started flickering, which was very jarring to the viewing experience. I've never seen this happen before with over 23 3D Blu-rays in my collection. Thinking it might be my player or TV, I tried Jurassic Park 3D which had perfect playback with none of the flickering.

This is a brand new copy, bought recently from Amazon so I'm really not sure what is going on here. Has anybody else had a similar problem with Ice Age 4 or any other film? Or is this just a faulty disc which I need to get replaced?
