Rank The Ice Age-movies

1. Ice Age 8/10
2. Ice Age: The Meltdown (Gets a little worn out after a few viewings, but still pretty funny)
3. Ice Age 6/10 (They should have stopped after 2. It was a perfect ending. What the fück is THIS sequel doing here???)
4. Ice Age: Continental Drift (Actually a little funnier than expected, but still extremely stereotypical and the pirates aren't funny at all. And the plot for the movie was bad too, it's just too goddamn similiar to Ice Age 2, so it doesn't even make any sense. Oh well, now I can just say; NO more Ice Age-movie, dammit!)

1. Ice Age 3: Buck was awesome and some scenes were just so funny!
2. Ice Age: Pretty good, and has some original ideas.
3. Ice Age The Meltdown: They introduced new characters well, though at times it's not that interesting.
4. Ice Age 4 Continental Drift: Too many useless characters, there was no need for teenage drama with Peaches (in fact, Peaches should have been a baby or something), bad plot and the lamest musical sequence in BSS's movies.

1. Ice Age - So funny, probably my favorite childhood movie
2. Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs - Funny but not as quite good
3. Ice Age: The Meltdown - Funny but a little underwhelming
4. Ice Age: Continental Drift - Hilarious sometimes but very disappointing. I did laugh really loud when the squirrel was in the ocean looking for the nut but I stopped later

Ice Age: My favourite; very funny. Even if it is an animated version of "Three Men and a Baby", it's a cool concept. Scrat is great. Manny's backstory is heart-breaking and tastefully done. The repore between the three leads is great. Also: dodos.

Ice Age - The Meltdown: Entertaining, animation improved. Heart is in the right place, but not as memorable as the original. Scrat is still funny.

Ice Age - Dawn of the Dinosaurs: Second favourite; Manny and Ellie are cute, Buck is awesome. The jokes are laugh out loud funny, even if it differs from the subtle humour of the original. Stunning animation. Scrat plot revamped. They managed to make a ridiculous concept work.

Ice Age - Continental Drift: The weakest, IMO. Animation is superb, best of the series. Characters still likeable and funny, and I like the new smilodon who is paired with Diego. The voice acting is good, you can tell the actors are having fun. However, it is the silliest, has the fewest funny jokes (the love and salty water jokes are funny), the pirates are asinine (except for the tigress).

What I did like is how they kept the whole Manny's family history running throughout the whole series. Even though the whole father vs daughter thing is cliché, it makes sense, and is a nice touch. Didn't like how the baby from the original (or his necklace that was given to Manny) never made a reappearance.

I fell in love with him the way you fall asleep: slowly, and then all at once.

1. Ice Age 3
2. Ice Age
3. Ice Age 4 - just OK, and I didn't like the rebellious teenage daughter thing being shoved down my throat in yet ANOTHER movie. It's like filmmakers WANT kids to act like that apparently.
4. Ice Age 2 - the possums were beyond obnoxious and the whole Ellie thinking she is a possum got on my nerves too.

So really liked 1 and 3, didn't care for 2 and 4.

1. Age Age: The first in a series is usually the best, and this series is no exception. Manny, Sid, and Diego are all perfectly introduced and have great chemistry, the humor is nicely handled, it has a good easy to follow story with good action.

2. Continental Drift: Despite the amount of hate this film gets, I actually really like it. It pretty much fixes what I didn't like about the other two, such as Crash and Eddie not having major roles here. The addition of Granny is funny. Could've been bad, but Wanda Sykes does the role nicely. Plus, Shira is a good addition. Another thing I like is that we finally have a villain again, whereas in the other sequels, we just had them running from water monsters and dinosaurs.

3. The Meltdown: Not a bad film at all with some really funny moments. But, there's some moments that big me. For one, Sid has gone from the annoying but funny friend, into a complete jerk, constantly rubbing the possible extinction of mammoths in Manny's face, which is just not funny, as well as rubbing in Diego's fear of water. Though, he does at least help Diego overcome that fear, which at least makes up for it a bit. We also are introduced to Crash and Eddie, who annoy the crap out of me. I like character of Ellie, but the whole opposum thing, it's a funny idea, but gets real old real fast, and sadly carries into the other sequels to an extent as well. On the bright side, a lot of the jokes are very clever, and the Scrat gags are the best in the series in my opinion .

4. Dawn of the Dinosaurs: Easily the worst. There's little to no character development, the plot is ridiculous, and Sid is so stupid it's more annoying than funny. The dinosaurs are a fun idea, but the film just was not handled correctly, at least in my eyes. Buck is cool, but isn't enough to save the film. Pretty much, the only important thing that happens is the birth of Peaches, but aside from that, this one could just be skipped over, and you wouldn't miss a thing.
