first time viewer for an Asylum flick

I saw this movie last night/early this morning, and I'm surprised that no one told the Wiccan witch wannabe NOT to chant or do "casts" as she called it...every time she prayed or chanted, something would happen, i.e. a picture fell down, the fireplace's blue spark or getting pulled against a door and bitten on the breast, or finally, when Gacy's ghost got fed up and went postal in the main room.

I knew absolutely nothing about this movie when I first pulled up a list of other found footage movies and started watching it. I thought, "hey, this might be worth a watch" but when I saw I stopped caring when the van pulled up to this huge house that is at least a century old and the cast was acting like they were in the real house. "Gacy killed 27 boys in this house" was one of the lines of dialogue or something like that. I was surprised that no one on the crew (who put up cameras to observe everything) never seemed to notice the bedroom door being continually opened and closed when no one was upstairs...

I was a teenager when Gacy was charged and I remembered the endless news footage of stretchers and bags that contained his victims being removed from his SMALL one-story house.

I watched until the end and saw that it was an Asylum production. I'd heard about the company but up until this morning, I was an Asylum virgin. I wish I'd just said "no" and stayed that way.

Asylum is trying hard to make Ed Wood look like a genius.

you might enjoy Paranormal entity. It follows the same "found footage" formula bt it is so bad it's hilarious. Gacy house was just awful
