The one with Mel Gibson?
Hopefully it'll be better, because I heard the Mel Gibson one wasn't very good.

Are you kidding? 'What Women Want' is great! I'm not really bothered by this so much because it's a chinese remake and not american.

If your enemy refuses to be humbled....DESTROY HIM!

An Asian remake of an American film? Hmm, you don't see that every day. What other American movies would be interesting if they were remade for the Asian market?

I cannot say where the OP got the information, but considering the IMDB average of 6/10 with metascore below average, the American version of What Women Want was mediocre. I thought the movie was semi-amusing, but just so-so when I watched it way back when.

A 6/10 on IMBD is actually above average. Some of Imbd's top 250 movies are in like the 7 range. So 6 means it is pretty good.

Every time a foreign country remakes an American film, no one cares. Whenever Hollywood dares to remake a foreign film, the protests, hysteria and outrage commences.
