Bianca too pretty to be a 'DUFF'

I quite enjoyed this movie surprisingly, but the one problem I had with this movie was Bianca was supposedly 'the duff' yet she was the best looking girl out of all of them, which kind of made it unbelieveable that she was such an outcast.
Did anyone else have this problem, and who would you have cast instead?

I think I would have tried to cast Alexandra Stamler from Role Models in the role.

She wasn't pretty or beautiful, but she wasn't ugly either. I don't think her character was supposed to be ugly, but unpopular I think, Idk

Er... no. She is pretty ugly by Hollywood standards. I was curious as to whether the movie was making her ugly on purpose and went to look at her actual photo.

Yup, she is ugly. By Hollywood standards.
