Unlike Million Dollar Listing

I actually like some of the realtors and think some of them know what they're doing. The clients suck, though. In this economy it would be really nice for these mega-rich clients to get brought down to earth more often. Enough of this, "We know the economy is bad, but this is a special place that we think can sell high for the right buyer" or "I want everything I want immediately for practically nothing".

I just watched the episode again of poor realtor trying to sell a run-down Park Ave condo for $3.5M but who's client refuses to renovate because she somehow knows more about real estate than her agent and, "Location, location, location" is all that matters. That's why I could never be an agent. I'd drop too many clients for being stupid and stubborn.

Yes, some of the clients do need to be dropped. Ask them to check out the 50th floor penthouse balcony and then hoist their a$$ over the railing. Sure, you won't get a commission, but your life would be so much easier.

i saw that ep. a while back. that location loc.loc. crap made me vomit in my mouth a little.

I'm amazed at how amateur the clients are. One woman dragged an agent and a developer out to the Poconos only to say something like "I hadn't thought of the money issue." Er, yeah. So the house wasn't going to be free.
