Not as bad as I first thought, Worth a second viewing.

When this first came out I was very disappointed. I was born and raised on the original series and even had a couple of episodes on VHS.

Now, redoing the thundercats universe like this is actually not a bad idea. It make sense and the world that they are making is pretty interesting.

To be honest, Cartoon Network kinda shoot themselves in the foot with bad marketing. Had people known that they were going to do a complete re-boot. It wouldn't have gotten since a backlash from the fans.

Now that've gotten over the original shock I decided to rewatch it again and I must say that I'm impressed. There is enough material to keep us old fans happy and enough new material to actually make it original and worth time spending on it.

It's sad that it was such a financial flop and that we will never get a second season or at least a tie-in movie to complete the storyline.
