Honestly, it seems like no matter how bad a movie is, there will always be someone who watches it, rates it high, and says that it was good in one way or the other. It's like no matter how bad a movie is, there will always be someone who likes it.

I'll admit this one wasn't quite as solid as the other films in the series, but I gave it a 9/10. Disaster Movie is still their magnum opus, IMO.
This film isn’t for everyone. These films movies are avant-garde attempts to introduce the art style of Dadaism into cinema. Film Dadaism, as well as Dadaism, is defined as "anti-art, anti-bourgeois and anarchist in nature, often with strong anti-war themes."
For instance, the famous 'heroes scene' (youtube it) from Disaster Movie is brilliant. The group is on the brink of death via tornado, and they all start cheering for a hero to show up. As soon as Iron Man shows up to rescue them, he gets squashed by a falling cow, which turns him into a metal can. This is like Mother Earth is saying "Enough with the industrial military complex that gave birth to machines like Iron Man! Bring about peace and start recycling!" This is a blatantly anti-war joke, so it comes as no surprise that the war-mongering, rich Republican film critics hate these films so much.
I recommend re-watching these films. I could spend hours talking about minutae that I didn't see the first time I watched one.
