This is far from great but its an enjoyable spoof. Its definitely not as bad as the 3 rating might imply

I was wondering if Twi-hard fans made an organized effort to give it low scores for poking fun at their sacred film.

No, it was those who enjoy real satire and not these crappy movies.

That is the only rational reason for such a low rating, dang Twi-hards!

I grew up watching Mel Brooks spoofs, long before these dudes that made this film came along, and I found 'Vampires Suck' to be just as enjoyable and funny as those.
