Sigve = poor guy gets demeaned by his cxnt wife. Is appreciated by both Kaja and Eirik however.
Eirik = never got over his army buddy with whom he undoubtedly would have been happier with.
Kaja = was unappreciated until Sigve arived and would have made a better match for both of them.
Elisabeth = was too much of bxtch to deserve anything but the boot!
i agree about elisabeth, i thought she'd go off with jan anyway...why beg for sigve to come back?

She also understood his pain of being hurt, so when you put it together the affair brought them back to each other. He saw in the other wife what he wanted from his own wife and she understood and silently agreed she would give it to him.
