Exactly why did the Flys die upon leaving the building? Was this ever explained in the story? I was only half paying attention, and I now this movie really isn't worth thinking too much about, but I'm just curious.

cuz they hibernate during the winter or something

Ha ha, makes about as much sense as anything else in this movie. I didn't think about the fact it was cold outside.. I thought maybe they were tied ti the building or something.

That's what I thought, until the end when the 'fly' or whatever came from the babies stroller.
