This is THE worst film I have ever seen. No exaggeration.

This film's production values are the lowest I have ever seen. The gore effects are laughable (tomato sauce & rubber prosthetics), and the acting is Z grade. Sitting in the cinema for 90 minutes watching this was a torturous experience, avoid this film at all costs.

Where on earth did you see THIS in cinema?

It was at the Auckland NZ film festival. It was touted in the guide as being "the film they tried to ban". The audience at the screening was almost entirely made up of the crew and their mates, as well as Keisha Castle-Hughes (for some weird reason), and me + my two mates face palming for 90 tedious minutes

It played at A Night of Horror, and it won the best film award. I’ll never know how Absentia wasn’t the best film in the program.

I have seen some pretty awful horror films so I don't know if this is the worst but it is certainly up there. Utter garbage. And honestly I have no idea what the hell any of it was about, the editing and script were atrocious. A mentally ill woman imagining things is about all I got from it.

Why don't you just say you didn't like it? You completely discredit everything you said with comments like this and sound like a 12 year old.
