shareYou would be surprised. While I'm sure it isn't common, I remember seeing some thick cheerleaders back in high school. None of them were at my school. All of our girls were thin, but some of the games that I went to, I remember seeing some heavier girls cheering. They were the ones doing all the splits too.
shareWe had some thicker cheerleaders at my high school / college, but they were usually athletic gymnast-type thick, not chubby out-of-shape thick.
