Pathetic remake, an insult to the original

The original is an overrated piece of trash. This one sucks, too. It botches the first act, which is basically the only good part of the original. But at least it changes up the boring formula of the original version for the finale. It's also thankfully quite a bit less pretentious than the first film, which made it easier to watch despite the myriad flaws.
