It's not like Marcel is throwing up super complex dishes. It's a party style setting where Marcel is expected to create tasty food that looks cool.

If anything I felt there's too much focus on the kitchen and not a lot of focus on the why and how behind the effects and there needs to be a more focused analysis of the cooks instead of snap shots where you don't realize someone is cutting an apple for too long until they mention it or cocktails pop up from nowhere.
