shareAgreed - that's one of the things I love about this show. They aren't just likeable, they help each other with advice, removing molds, etc.
I so agree with you. We get to see the actual work and people supporting each other instead of a bunch of soap opera artificial drama.
I watch these shows to see the transformations, to see the creations. I love that, for the most part, they lift each other up.
That's precisely why I enjoy this show and "kids baking championship". They're the only reality shows I can actually sit through because there's no backstabbing or hostility between the contestants.

It's nice because the contestants and the judges actually care about the work.
The judges give constructive criticism instead of telling the contestants their work sucks. Even on some hideous makeup jobs they will tell the contestants what part they did right.
Watch something like Masterchef where they'll look at a plate and just throw it in the trash because they didn't like the presentation.
