Cute Romance Not Enough Thought To Ending

I really like Christmas movies - they are sweet, sometimes romantic, lighthearted FUN. We all need some smiles and a respite from the bad things going on in the world. I liked the actors and actresses in the movie, I love how bad the bad guy was and how sweet Christie North is. The only thing I would say about the plot is the whole bit about "if you aren't following your dream, you won't be a good parent" part. Actually, in my experience, being a parent means you put your desires aside for a short while and think of your child's well being first. Of course a stable managerial job where the little girl can stay in her school, with her friends and in her home, especially so soon after losing her parents, is the right and mature choice. The whole bit about going off on tour seemed like an unnecessary plot development. I know I'm probably over thinking this, but as a mom, it did annoy me. I do like the movie a lot, regardless of the silly twist. The good people won, found love and happiness, the evil, scheming boss was punished. Faith in Christmas and love were reaffirmed. What more could you ask from a TV Christmas movie?
