Unfortunately I did not hear her talk.

My first time a Brooklyn Museum. It was quite a big larger than I expected, and the free Target Saturday nights are really busy with a large hipster club crowd. They had a large open area used as a huge dancefloor with DJs.

I got their too late to get tickets. They started giving out tickets at 5PM, not at 7PM as I had read. And the gallery she was exhibiting in is small, maybe 500 sq feet, so there was only tickets for 30 or so people.

I did get to see her show. The pieces are cohesive. She does excellent ink and multimedia. Her use of red hued crushed gravel and soil looked very tactile and quite impressive in person.
