Limited release
I live in the UK and it was released end of September.With such a big cast I am baffled as to why it got such a very limited release here.I was really looking forward to it.Anybody know why?
shareWell, obviously the test previews were awful and they only set for a limited release it (in the US and other major markets) because the distributor was bound by contract with the producers to do so. It is called a technical release (nobody cares if people go watch it, although producers hope that a miracle will occur). Then the DVD was out pretty fast (and VOD, torrents...).
When they know they have a dud on their hands they only want to get it over with fast and cheap.
