People are too prudish nowadays.

Back in the 80s kids watched The Goonies, Monster Squad, Back to the Future, and even Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Movies with violence, adult themes, sexual content, smoking, and some heavy language. People didn't care. Nowadays movies like Fun Size or (God help us) the beautiful 80's emulating Paranorman get s*** on for having these attributes. Kids movies are getting dumber because studios can't make anything for older kids without getting into trouble.
