kind of shocked...

that so many people are saying the acting is bad. by who? i happen to think the majority of the principle cast has acted their roles out well. specifically michael stahl-david, anne son, kelli garner and mehcad brooks.

i know the show has gotten crap ratings but i actually am enjoying it.

Solid acting from most of the casts. Even side characters like Steven's mom was good. That scene when he revealed to her that he has a son. Sooo good.

i agree! maybe we can debate that the execution of the show isn't up to par with what one might have hoped.. but i wouldn't debate the acting. not for a lot of the actors.

A lot of people said that they wished ABC would drop the faux documentary format like they did to Detroit 187 and No Ordinary Family. It's a shame because as it is, My Generation does not appeal to 25-30 yrs olds, older folks may like this format more.

Plus, the timeslot is tough. It went against popular The Big Bang Theory, the most stable show on broadcast TV(in terms of ratings)Bones, and the current fad Vampire Diaries.

I hope ABC won't yank it from schedule, or at least produce all 13 epsiodes and air it on Fridays. I love this show.

Eh, I was dissapointed with Happy Town to be honest. But I loved the creators of that show other works (Life on Mars and October Road).
