It's a real shame this film is not as popular as it deserves

I got to watch this film by chance, only after discovering it on the boards of other more well known Korean movies. And boy it was a pleasant surprise. It rates up there with Chaser, Mother and I Saw the Devil, among others. I don't know how IMDb functions in detail, but they (the people behind this film) could at least put a poster here. It never stopped me (the absence of a poster), but I guess it's a turn off for the majority of people who tend to discover films through IMDb.

I watched this because it was recommended on asian-horror-movies.com ...
I think the 7.3 IMBD score shows that the film is very well liked, but I agree with the lack of a poster. I think a lot of foreign films don't have much info here because even though it's the "international" movie database, countries like Japan, for instance, probably have their own movie database website or app. One of the reviews here tried to say it was a rip-off of Oldboy and that the twist didn't have anything to do with the story, which means the viewer wasn't paying attention, lol. All the other reviews are positive so I think it's got enough here to get people to watch it. Though, the title 'No Mercy' kinda gives off an American action flick vibe.
