Questionable but enjoyable
I for one loved the movie despite the negativity passed by a lot or reviewers .... There some sense that were not perfected but all in all, I enjoyed it.
shareoverall, a well executed genre movie. the slow burn approach in the first half worked for me. characters were believable and it was nice to see some fresh faces. the technical aspects were decent: fx, score (co-composed by slash!) etc.
unfortunately the plot was too thin and clichéd, without any surpises at all, thus my attention began to fade towards the end. i guess it might have worked better at a runtime of 70-80 minutes.
a good achievement for a directional debut feature though.
