It's awful.

Oh Slash...
Outside of two obvious dream sequences, nothing happens for the first 57 minutes, and when it does, it's just a shoddy ripoff of Japanese imagery the likes of "Ringu" and "Ju-On."
The cinematography is uninspired, the soundtrack (co-written by Slash himself) is mediocre, and when the effects aren't saturated in CGI that would embarrass 1998, at best, the practical makeup looks cheap and rushed.
