I Felt So Sorry For That Boy!

Pretty much the only character I felt bad for. I thought the family was stupid, especially the blonde girl, the other sister.

You mean the little brother Christopher or Noah, the kid that was trying to help the family out at the end? I felt bad for Christopher because he seemed to have more sense than the rest of his family. What was the point of the dad sending the car away with them in it to try to deal with dead demon daughter Mary? Why not take off. He has 2 children who now have lost their mother. What is the point in leaving them orphans? In the end it didn't matter, but...The whole scene where blondie keeps telling Noah to stop the car, stop the car, stop the car and gets out and wastes a truckload of time - Noah could have explained it in the car. She was a moron. On top of that, why does the mom say in that nasty way, your welcome, btw, for the dinner in the oven. She is an idiot. She tells her daughter, who just got home, that her sister Mary is sick. Instead of eating your darn oven dinner, she is going to check on her sister - maybe something, AS A MOTHER, you could have done too? Plus, every time they see Mary and her black ink, they keep standing there like statues instead of getting the heck out of dodge. What a dumb bunch of idiot people!

In the end, blondie becomes the attendant to the new family, as Noah once was. WTH! Does that mean Noah died? Why wouldn't she run away? Was she possessed too, now? They closed the portal. I don't get it.

Now, I was talking about Christopher. He died because of his sister's stupidity. I don't think Noah died. I think he was released from his duty after the blonde took his place. In fact, it's sort of sent the message that the entire towns' folk are like this. Remember that one woman with the scars? She had to have got them in the same way, having her wrist slashed to seal the gate. So I'm pretty sure Noah is still alive.

I was thinking that it could be that too. I guess once they have served their purpose, they just become part of the "townsfolk" of crazies. hehe
