Not THE worst movie I ever saw but CLOSE to it

This movie really stunk! The acting was weak from all involved and I expected so much more. It was slowwwwww paced and there was no explanation or background for most of it, you basically had to guess. I'll admit the girl looked creepy at the end but that was about it. I didn't enjoy this and I felt like my intelligence was insulted at the end. I struggled to give it the 2 stars I gave it. Clancy Brown that plays the older preacher is such a good actor and I can't believe he went from Shawshank Redemption to this. He even does better providing the voice for Mr. Krabs than he did in this.

I'm not insulting you personally but it is odd you use the descriptor of insulting your intelligence when it is clear the intellectually premise of the movie has eluded you. There were clues all throughout the movie and you did not have to guess in regards to the legend being filmed. If this is close to the worst movie you've ever seen then that must be a very small sample size.

Trust me I do not FEEL insulted by you especially since you know nothing about me. I watched it with other people who are fairly intelligent and they all just looked at each other at the end and said WEAK story writing. It could have been a much better movie with a little more effort. I expressed my opinion, just letting people know not to get their hopes up.

If you think this is close to the worst movie out there, you are going to be in for a surprise sooner or later ;)

Its an alright movie. Bit slower paced yes, but sometimes that's not a bad thing afterall.

It really is a very bad movie!!! I find it non-sensical and it's just a waste of time and money in case you have spent anything on it... I wish movie-makers of this kind should never get the financing for such *beep* And I never thought I would get this harsh, since I generally appreciate any kind of effort that's being put into creating some work of art. But this film is just so bad that I believe whoever put his/her money into it must regret it... Bad, bad, bad! It's no work of art, but just some attempt at making movies that gets nowhere. Stop trying, please, for the sake of us, viewers!

It's one of the worst for me. Just boring and a pretentious Japanese rip-off as far as I'm concerned. Husband seems to like it though. It's ONLY redeeming feature, for me, is the ever watchable Clancy Brown; I agree with the OP that his role in Spongebob is much better. Lol.
