Good Movie and Cast

Not the greatest movie, but i really enjoyed it. i thought the casting was perfect. Everyone fit their role so well. Oliver Platt was hilarious. Definitely recommend this movie.

I'm inclined to disagree with you on the cast, Liam Hemsworth was the absolute worst part of this film. Every single line he delievered felt forced and had no energy. It was like he was a student and everyone else around him were masters. He was out of place and didn't do it for me at all. But I will agree that Oliver Platt was on point. The film was decent enough though.

yup. hemsworth, as always, sucked ass.

I thought the acting in this movie was more than decent and I definitely would recommend this movie to others too. Even if I don't have it in my top 5 all-time I would say it is an 8 out of 10 movie.

Malkovich and Bruce Dern where awesome in this! Just a very nice movie. Not one to skip that's for sure. I thought Derns little monologue before "whatever happens to him" was the best part.

The supporting cast (Malkovich, Dern, Thornton, Platt) were great. The lead actor and actress were so bad that they may as well have been random people picked off the street.

As to the movie itself, there wasn't much more to it than recycling themes, characters, and events from various Coen brothers films: "tribute" bordering on ripoff.

The supporting cast carried the movie and made it for me. Hemsworth wasn't great but he was ok for the role. I enjoyed it.

Hemsworth nearly ruined an ok film, while its tue what someone commented above about the script being a borderline ripoff homage to the Coens, still the supporting cast was magnificent to watch, it makes me wonder what was it like when Thor's little brother was told by his agent that he got the main role in a flick where he would be playing against Dern, Malkovich and Thornton, why didn't he at least make an effort, why not even try to act....my conclusion is that he just doesn't have the acting chops.

As soon as i saw Dern.........then Malkovich....coupled with that Thornton goof.out we went.
