Bigger, better roles for Jeremie Elkaim!

Watched Polisse yesterday evening on pay-per-view and thought it was a pretty good film, even if the ending was a bit quirky. It was an ensemble piece and Jeremie Elkaim was excellent as part of that ensemble, but his character didn't receive nearly as much screen time as many of the others. This man is an exceptional performer; when are directors (Francois Ozon, where are you?) going to start usng him in more challenging roles?! Just don't understand it. Come on guys! Give Jeremie something he can get his teeth into!

I agree. I wish he and Arnaud Henriet had bigger roles. In my opinion, we see a little bit too much Karin Viard and Marina Foïs (2 very good actresses by the way). Frédéric Pierrot and Joeystarr were perfect... I agree that the end is a little over-the-top though. Great movie nonetheless.

An incredibly dumb movie with disastrous performances from both the lead actors (about La guerre est déclarée).

"Dumd" movie? Conaidering how dark and serious the subject matter was, there was nothing "dumb" about it, and your opinion about it is just plain dumb as hell. This movie was good as hell, and I almost couldn't stop watching until the end.
