Another saddening realization about Future It Up

Rocky and Ty's father wanted his children to become doctors, but relented when he realized it was more important for them to follow their own dreams, because only then would they be truly happy. And yes, Rocky would go on to become a successful performer, but along the way, she fell out of touch with her very best friend. And Ty... Poor, poor Ty. Not only did Dr. Blue's baby boy fail to live his dream, but he also got stuck in a job he hated, working for a demanding, overbearing boss who had no respect for him, and he's going bald, probably due to the stress of overwork - for which he probably also got no thanks or appreciation - is overweight, and generally has the air of somebody who is deeply, deeply unhappy. Seeing his son fail to live his dream, and then wither like that, must have absolutely broken Dr. Blue's heart.

I dunno, man. That episode just made me so sad.
