Where is it filmed? Is that Shatner's real house?

Is this series filmed in the US or Canada? The house that features in each episode, is that Shatner's real house? In any case, where is it located? Looks like a very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood.

His real house was featured in an episode od American Pickers.

That was a house he was currently building - presumably he has a few residences, though I do tend to think the one seen in the show is probably one of them.

Yeah, in one of them he referred to it as "his house". I don't think he would have gotten specific if it wasn't his house.
