What were classical Greek drama references?

I thought it was an interesting drama from the rare perspective of a young hoodie on a rough estate, but I was curious about one of the reviews which says there are references to classical Greek drama. I don't know about Greek drama and wondered if somebody can tell me what parts apply to that?

I think he was referring to the group of Kevin's mates. They were something like the chorus in a classical Greek drama, in that they commented on the action of the film, but took no direct part in it. However, I must say that having just watched the film, before reading the review & your query, the similarity to a Greek chorus did not occur to me!
