Very odd film....

First, this had none of the feeling or reasoning of the original, nor even the canon and non canon follow ups. This film was about nothing but violence.

Secondly, if you haven't yet had an epileptic seizure, watch the vision scenes a couple of times, and I'm sure you will. Good lord!

I'm sorry, but what in God's name was this violence fest?

And what the heck happened to Deveraux? I guess he finally went bonkers, eh?

I just threw up a little in my mouth.

Completely agree! The decision to try to induce seizures on the audience really pissed me off. Terrible filmmaking and the story was idiotic to say the least.

Luc escaped at the end of the last one and has been freeing the other unisols ever since with the help of the scientists from government control.

Luc was never a leader in the previous movie's so his "outer heaven" became like a pack of wild dogs, but maybe now with John in command with his still implanted memories keeping him grounded in respect to his humanity, might finally get somewhere and be able to shut them down from the inside in a total role reversal
