Enjoyable
Predictable, clichéd and unoriginal. But also well cast, well paced and acted. I wonder how much the fact that this is basically a French film lifted it above pack?
sharei can't see where that had anything to do with it, since there's nothing overtly french about it; just the production side. and actually wouldn't it be the contrary? ...don't foreign films usually do worse over here?
also it was filmed in the usa, in english. just don't see your point.

I think the French do things a little differently and when I watched the DVD extras it seemed that a lot of the crew were also French. I (a Brit) just think that showed through in the final film.
