Too skinny

I think she is too skinny, to be believable. I mean she couldnt hardly carry the sniperifle without tripping.

Let's not forget the hips sashaying from side to side as she did so, just to make it look even more credible.

"If they move......Kill 'em!"

She has a fairly cute face - but if she loses 10 pounds she will look deathly ill.

Her figure is way too skinny to be attractive - but idiot Hollyweird execs still push skin and bones on the public - and thousands of teenage girls are conned into believing THAT is the ideal of attractiveness.

reply

I think she's beautiful, but she is frighteningly skinny. She could use a good 15 lbs.

reply

Zoe is stunningly gorgeous but she could use a few hamburgers and maybe a cheesecake to fill out those curves and toothpick legs a bit.

reply

actually i'd take her just like she is. her thighs are actually kinda thick, and all the rest is great with me too. i think mostly she appears thin up top. which is usually my weak area, but in her case i would definitely make an exception.

man i dunno how to say it but she has a, what, some kind of extra intangible element that makes her very sexy.

....rises her above the crowd. there's 'something' about her

(i noticed it all the way back in CENTER STAGE in 2000)

Actually, Zoe looks healthy. This sort of stupid double standard in society makes me really angry. You can say to or about a skinny girl, "Yuck, she looks gross and unhealthy, she needs to eat a hamburger." but not in a million years could you acceptably walk up to a fat girl and say, "Yuck, you look gross and unhealthy. You should stop eating so many hamburgers." There are so many different types of attractive bodies. Some of them are skinny and some of them are curvy, accept them both.

reply

Except no one is walking up to her saying that. This is a public board about a celebrity figure. I see on Jennifer Lawrence's board there are many people saying she needs to lose weight (not in my opinion) but point is that it isn't a double standard on here. I don't generally comment on women being too thin unless they look unhealthy, which she does, IMO.

reply

She looks great, you spend too much time around fat people. But it's especially silly commenting on skinny girls, because it's not like it's hard to gain 10lbs. Fat girls need all the motivation they can get, up to being mocked at the grocery store or refused service by the pizza guy. Poor Jennifer Lawrence will probably have breast cancer in 20 years from the hormones her fat cells are producing (Not certain of this, I'd need to palpate her belly and buttocks for a firm prognosis)

reply

@timlin-4: This might be the most idiotic thing I've ever read on these boards!

reply

Without giving away any spoilers, I must say that her slender figure allowed her character to do many of the stunts she does with credibility. I can't picture anyone but a somewhat skinny person doing what she did.

Whatever you wish for me, I hope you have twice as much.

reply

Presumably fat people are already aware that they are fat.

Thin people, on the other hand, may truly be under the belief that they are still fat or at least not thin.

reply

Not sure where you live, however, it is very common for overweight people to be made fun of and the targets of negative comments. And yes, we should accept people of all race, genders, sizes, etc.

reply

She's truly very slim, but for me she looks like a track and fielder.
Her arms and legs are muscular. In a very stylish way, but visible.
I don't know, how many stunts are in the action scenes, but I can belive, that Zoe Saldana made lots of these scenes herself.

I know your deepest secret fear...

Way too skinny. But her size fits the role. You'd have to be thin and in shape to do the stuff she does. The only time I had a problem with her size was during the fight scene with Marco. I seriously doubt she would be able to overpower him. He was a very fit fighter.

I would love if it is just that she can eat anything and not put on weight.

That's how it is for me, my metabolism is very high and no matter what I eat it is ridiculously hard for me to put on any weight. I would actually have to go to the gym and do weight training to 'bulk up'.

She might have the same problem. Aww well that's my curse.
