I enjoyed the film but every actor seemed to give a very deliberate and exaggerated vocal delivery, as though trying too hard to sound English. The few I've checked seem to be from the UK, so is there any reason for this does anyone know?
shareIt may be because the entire cast was English. People in villages sometimes have exaggerated accents. Also I expect the film was made for an english audience and therefore wasn't americanised in any way

Unfortunately the only reason for their hellish enunciation was overacting.
