Movie promotes teenage pregnancy?

Why does this movie promote teenage pregnancy by casting parents young enough to be older siblings instead of parents? Holly would have given birth to Jodelle at only 15 and Brendon would have been 17. There's no reason to glorify Bristol by making this seem normal.
