Ice Quake

Filmed in my hometown of Maple Ridge BC. As well as in Hemlock Valley and Agassiz BC, this film is great for conspiracy theorists to ponder on. The picturesque Hemlock Valley Ski Resort is the main backdrop to this disaster film. The Webster family out on Christmas Eve to chop down the family tree on Mt Phaeton, gets trapped by glacial tremors and methane gas eruptions.

While this made for TV movie doesn't have the snap, crackle and pop of other disaster movies, it delivers an enjoyable viewing experience and a very convincing concept storyline.
