Why do they make these films?

There is one on every day on the Horror Channel (why don't they put the year?)
and they're all an insult to the intelligence of the viewers. There is no comedy or fun to be had. Just ridiculous science and poor acting, direction and effects.

At least the Ed Wood movies were tongue in cheek and shared the joke.
