Obnoxious sound effects

The movie was ok but did anyone else find it hard to take this movie seriously because of the obnoxious sound effects? Every time he punched someone I wanted to laugh because it reminded me of Street Fighter or TeKKen...so exaggerated...and on the topic of video games the song playing during the credits reminded me of Road Rash lol. (old Sega Genesis game for those of you who don't know)

Yes. But everything is so over sound designed now to the point of being ridiculous. Even getting a Swiss Army knife out of a jeans pocket (which would normally be totally silent) has to produce a metallic "ching". It's like "hey everyone, this is a knife, just in case you haven't seen one before they go "ching" when you get them out"
