how does this stuff get green lit???

how??? And why would anyone want to see these dated action movies... they were great in the 80's and 90's but enough is enough. No one cares any more so why waste your money on this crap. At least it isn't in 3d... I will be glad when that trend goes away.

People still like 80's movies

Oh yes the 80's and 90's were SOOOOOO long ago..and of course that's when this started

Come on, this genre is always going to be around, been so since the dawn of film. They're inexpensive to make, does ok overseas, and makes a sizable dime when placed in the home entertainment market. Keeps actors working, you know beyond the time when they were somewhat popular. So don't fret. This is Robert Patterson's and Justin Timberlake's and Jesse Eisenberg's (ETC) future right here. If they are lucky to work later in acting at this stage at all. And your kids will get sick of it too.

I'm a compulsive liar, and that's the truth!

I'd rather watch an R-rated action movie with minimal plot rather than one of the countless $250 million dollar superhero movies...
