I thought this was a mockbuster at first

Like Transmorphers or Alien VS Hunter. The poster looks like the SyFy Channel original movie version of Taken.

The plot may be different, but it doesn't matter because with the details and posters that are up right now they definitely want people going into this movie thinking they have seen taken.

It's like when Da Vinci Code became a big deal and they beat the film adaptation to the theaters with National Treasure. Sure it's a different plot, but highlighting the similarities put asses in seats.
