What was up with the music?

Seriously, it didn't fit in at all.

It sounded like it belonged to a random B-action movie from the seventies/eighties, and it was only after half an hour or so when I thought it just might could fit in, but only because the movie itself was completely silly at times.

Not a good movie at all, though I enjoyed it because of Nicholas Cage and Danny Huston's performances.
