Was that from left field, or what? Yes, Malin is Swedish- did I miss any reference to the character she played?
shareObviously they passed the heritage/nationality/whatever you wanna call it of the actress onto the character. That way they could have a believable "code" that they could use that wasn't totally stupid.
What caught my attention more is how good Cage was at Swedish...sure he didn't say much, but most american actors who is supposed to speak Swedish, Norwegian (or any other not so well known language really) just speak gibberish..most often not even attempting real words. The few times they do try for real words it's almost always laughable.
